"The International Education Charter is a declaration of fundamental principles guiding youth education worldwide in the 21st century. Created by global civil society, CCLP Worldwide and endorsed by thousands of members, volunteers, organizations, institutions and individuals engaged in promoting the position of youth, the International Education Charter is not only a call to action, but a motivating force inspiring change the world over. The International Education Charter is being implemented into the Declaration of Higher Education for the 21st century by UNESCO, and Ten Principles of United Nations Global Compact for the purposes of creating and a more purposeful and sustainable future for today’s youth."


Remedial classes - a safety valve for new age students

In modern times, the concept of remedial programmes and classes has been the talk of the town in primary level education for various reasons. The pros and cons of providing remedial classes are debated at various spectrums of education whether it is the school, parents or government – everyone has some say on it. It seems the benefits of such remedial classes over-weigh its cons in many ways.

Considerable research works have been done in the area of early childhood education and most childhood education specialists are of the view that it's highly advantageous for young minds to get enrolled in pre-kindergarten classes for better results in future.

National Seminar on Marginalized tribes of North East India successfully completed

Government College of Kamalanagar (Mizoram) had organized two days National Seminar on Marginalized Tribes of North East India at Aizawl, Mizoram on 23rd and 24th April 2015 in association with International Organization of Education Charter – CCLP Worldwide.The seminar witnessed key note address by Prof. Rajoshree Roy (HOD) , vishwa bharati university santiniketan, presentation of Education Charter in special relevance to marginalized Communities by Edr. Vinod Singh, Hon. Vice Chairman, International Council, expert comment by Hon. Vice Chancellor of Mizoram University, Lecture by Director of College Development Council, Govt. Of Mizoram and Principal of Kamala Nagar College and moderated by Hon. Prof. Dr. Debasish paul, Professor, Kamalanagar College. Educators from various Colleges and Universities from across the country particpated in the seminar and presented research papers.The whole seminar was sponsored by UGC and ICSER Govt. Of India.

CCLPW Observers attended United Nations Geneva Session on Briefing for NGOs on perception change project.


The Observer Delegation of CCLP Worldwide led by Amb. Enrico Davide Gavello , Chief Administrative Officer (CCLPW) to United Nations attended the special session onBriefing for NGOs on perception change projectat Geneva, United Nations on 9th October 2014.

Prof. Dr. Igino Autuori, Special representative (CCLPW) was also present in the session.


Meeting with Hon. MEP Cécile Kyenge, Vice-Chairman , Education and Culture Committee, European Parliament

The High Level Delegation led by Amb. Enrico Davide Gavello with Prof. Bertirotti and Prof. Autuori had visited the Office of Vice Chairperson, Education and Culture Committee of European Parliament and met with Hon. Member of European Parliament Ms. Cécile Kyenge, Vice Chair of EDU and CULT committee of European Parliament and discussed in various issues of co-operation in the area of Education, Cultural advancement and Research initiative.

Observance of World Day Against Child Labour

On 12th June 2014 The Executive Secretariat of CCLP Worldwide organized program with the children of underprivileged and poor family of the City to observe World Day Against Child Labour. The Children along with their parents attended the program and short video on the position of Child Labour and its effect on society was shown to the participants and children were provided with educational stationery & food and were encouraged to keep on their studies without compromising on any issues. During the program Our Chairman Mr. Vikrant Singh along with members of the Council were present to encourage the children.

Under able leadership of International Co-Chairman Prof. Dr. Ratnayake CCLP – Education Charter and Humanity Without Frontiers Join together to Promote Education For All by 2015 in Asia.

15th Edition of The Education Charter released at UNESCO NEQMAP meeting

CCLP Worldwide is an institutional Member of UNESCO Network of Education Quality monitoring For Asia Pacific (NEQMAP) and Dr Vinod Singh attended the 2nd annual Members meeting andproudlyreleased the 15th edition of the magazine. This issue has central theme ofquality education and learning assessment and this issue also covered the 2nd annual meeting of NEQMAP.
