Roll Of Honours

The International Council of CCLP Worldwide confers its highest Honour to an individual of high personage who demonstrate extraordinary effort, innovation, leadership, and excellence in initiating and supporting educational efforts or support or campaign or project to humanity or in any other area of activity

The International Council has so far honored following persons for their extraordinary contribution to society.

Prof. Schaller who is renown for having first described the trigemino-cardiac reflex in 1999, and having received awards like e.g. the Leonardo Da Vinci Science Award of Europe in 2009 and also the Certificate of Honor of CCLP previously. This year he was – among other awards - honored by the former Chief Minister Kuramaswami of Karnataka and now by International Council of CCLP worldwide. All these prestigious awards underline the outstanding clinical importance of his scientific work in modern skull base surgery. Prof Schaller is therefore one of the most important neuroscientist of his generation.
Prof Schaller continues his research about the trigemino-cardiac reflex with collaborators all over the world, but also with different Indian colleagues.
In addition, he also demonstrates a great humanitarian engagement in
Sub-Saharian Africa and works together with different outstanding African Universities and Institutions.
The International Council of CCLP worldwide recognizes his global efforts with its 2010 scientific Global Gold Medal the extraordinary excellence of the scientific work of Prof. Bernhard Schaller.
